The inn's decor includes pictures and documents about local history, complementing the building's architecture. Staff members were very friendly throughout my stay. I found the locally sourced food to be of good quality. The restaurant offers tasty meals. I appreciated the log burning fires as they created a warm, cosy atmosphere.
My room was above the bar, so friday evening noise was a minor issue after a long drive (earplugs helped though).

the staff were cute and efficient. breakfast had very good choices. our room was clean, and the bed had lovely linen. i found parking easily. the location suits those travelling on the m6. the bar is cosy.
i found some noise at night as my room was over the bar.

The restaurant dinner tasted excellent. I had a very high quality breakfast. Everything was prepared fresh with a good choice. The room had been renovated recently, it featured a big, comfortable bed. Plenty of drawers are available too.
The parking lot was a bit small. It was difficult to find a space during peak hours.
